From a large collection I’ve developed over many years, I now offer a small set of art objects for the home. I think of my work, whether functional or sculptural, as small investigations into daily conventions—tiny gestures of everydayness that re-present domesticity, ritualistic patterns and habitual forms. These raw stoneware sculptures are meant for play—with no rules attached, each dish allows for a game to be invented or for time to be recorded. These playful sculptures are meant for adults to reconnect with their imagination.
